Anima 2012 @ Flagey

After 30 years of existence, Festival Anima has grown into one of the five biggest animation festivals in the world. This year’s edition takes place from 17 to 26 February in Flagey. Over 35 000 persons participated last year.

150 animation works, mainly long features and shorts films, compete for Best Feature, Best Short Film, Best Music Video or Best Advertising Film awards.

The festival will open with « From Up On Poppy Hill », a promising film from the Ghibli studios, directed by the son of famous Hayao Miyasaki (My Neighbor Totoro).
